The Story of Necklace 📿 by Guy De Maussapant

Hello peeps! Today #MiKi would like to share with all of you about a story of necklace ! I believe most of you have heard of it before as it's really popular.

The story revolves around a beautiful lady, Matilda who has longing for appearing glamour & fashionable in front of people. Even though she was later married to an ordinary clerk but her passion still persist. One day, her husband receives an invitation to a dance party & decided to bring her along. This further probes Matilda to borrow a diamond necklace from her rich friend as part of her accessories.

No doubt, with her pleasant look added with an eye-catching jewelry, she earned her praises & become the spotlight throughout the event. However, luck is not always on her side as she found the necklace went missing upon returning home. In order to replace the necklace , both of them proceed to borrow a huge amount of money .

Life has been miserable as they need to work day & night for ten years to clear off the debt. Only later on she is shocked to learn from her friend when they've accidentally meet again that the diamond necklace is just actually made up of artificial diamonds. The price isn't compatible with what they has worked for.

Sadly, Matilda is no longer the beautiful lady that she used to proud of before. Her hard life has changed her style, thus her overall outlook. Just like a poor old woman.
